BREAKING NEWS Wallace's Lost Road
Help me explore what might be the Scot's camp at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. WOW....FUNDING ALL SORTED THANKS!
A late post this week as I was waiting for a film I made with Bruce Fummey to be released.
The road to victory…the only surviving section of the medieval Causeway.
This is all connected to a section of the road to Stirling Bridge that Wallace and de Moray travelled down to victory at Stirling Bridge which survives in the grounds of Stirling University and we want to see if this is where Wallace had his HQ. So we want to dig it in September on the anniversary of the battle (11th to 14th September) and we’ll also be metal detecting.
To cover the costs of the dig we need £2000. We’re asking for people to help you can make a donation here and get your name in the report or if you want to take part it’ll be £50 a day, but for every person that pays we’ll offer a free place to someone from the local community. If you’re interested or want to learn more please email info@rampartscotland.co.uk.
WOW WE GOT ALL THE MONEY IN TWO DAYS…THE BRUCE FUMEY AFFECT?
THANKS EVERYONE!

I’m interested in volunteering for that dig in September. I shall make a financial contribution too.
