Thanks for this. Really interesting, are there any findings that suggest the form of Stirlingshire Brochs varies from the more Northern sites?
Thanks. It’s a complex issue, we used to view them as later and less well built. But it’s clear that too much emphasis on as pit in the Roman finds all of which might be later and certainly don’t date construction. Try my paper of Torwood in psas.
